PROJECT DESCRIPTION

As a globally active family-owned company with the highest quality standards, Alfred Kärcher SE & Co. KG places great importance on smooth and efficient internal processes. Our maintenance department at the headquarters in Winnenden is responsible for the constant availability of our plants, technology, and buildings. After using pitFM for years as a local Windows installation, we decided last year to expand to „pitFM Expert Web“ – a choice that has massively simplified our daily work.

From our practical experience, we want to highlight two decisive advantages:

1. No IT bottlenecks: 100 % web-based with no client installation required

pitFM Expert Web's browser-based solution has minimized IT effort for deployment. Time-consuming installation work and the tedious rollout of software packages or updates on individual end devices are a thing of the past. We only need a standard web browser at workstations, which noticeably relieves our IT department and enables immediate, company-wide access.

2. From practitioners for practitioners: Quick program startup and high acceptance

For our technicians, foremen, and planners, focusing on maintenance, not software administration, is key. pitFM Expert Web impresses with extremely short loading times during startup and login – without any waiting time for the license manager, even when working from home. Since the user interface is virtually identical to the conventional solution, the program rollout was almost self-explanatory for the entire team. This high user-friendliness has ensured enormous acceptance in the department from day one.
