PROJECT DESCRIPTION
At the end of 2006, the decision was made to invest in IT equipment for the FM department. The requirements for the new software were defined by means of a comprehensive specification sheet, so that at the beginning of 2008 all order processing was carried out using the new pitFM software.
Space and technical management involves, among other things, the exact allocation and distribution of common areas into cost groups. This was still done manually until the implementation, but thanks to pitFM it now works on a daily basis at the touch of a button. A link to AutoCAD has been established in order to better display areas.
The area of technical FM includes technical maintenance in particular, in which 1,000 systems requiring inspection are serviced using an electronic inspection logbook.
In the fleet area, the focus is on the exact recording of hours/kilometers in order to avoid idle times in the future. Fleet managers and general administration are linked via an interface.
The area of cleaning covers all aspects such as quality control, performance and time specifications, division of work processes. pitFM enables the changeover from time-oriented cleaning to quality-oriented cleaning.
In addition, an interface was created to the commercial software used, to time recording and to Airport Manager, the software used to create schedules for aircraft.
