Project description

Bavaria Film relies on state-of-the-art digital facility management with the CAFM solution pitFM. Over 700 users work with pitFM Smart every day, while around 20 users use the powerful pitFM Expert
use. With the introduction of pitFM, numerous isolated solutions were replaced and data from different areas of the company was brought together centrally. The result: significantly increased efficiency thanks to standardized master data management.
Initially, building master data (including CAD links) and employee data were recorded digitally. The next step was the integration of area rental agreements, which are now conveniently controlled via pitFM, as is the entire rental agreement and contract management. Via the user-friendly web portal, customers can directly request services such as telephone or internet and easily enter fault reports themselves.

Thanks to the integrated GAEB interface, tendering and awarding processes can be efficiently handled digitally and seamlessly integrated into existing workflows with pitFM and pitFM Smart.
With pitFM and pitFM Smart, companies in the film and TV industry benefit from a flexible, scalable and future-proof solution for all aspects of facility management - from space management and contract management to efficient communication with customers and service providers.

The SAP interface was implemented in such a way that master data such as customer and supplier data is transferred from SAP to pitFM, while rental costs flow reliably from pitFM back to SAP.

 In addition, the new pitFM 2GO mobile interface adds three further processes to the system: Room evaluation, order management and ticket system.
