Project description

Woschitz Engineering ZT GmbH, based in Eisenstadt and Oberwart, sees itself as an innovative civil engineering office for civil engineering. With the Energy Design department founded in 2010, the company has a specialized unit for building technology and energy planning that successfully combines knowledge from completed projects with innovative approaches.

Woschitz relied on a powerful and future-proof software basis as early as the founding of the Energy Design department. The aim was to ensure planning reliability, cost-effectiveness and BIM capability in all project steps. The continuous data link with AutoCAD MEP and Revit was particularly important.

Use of SOLAR-COMPUTER

Heating load, cooling load and heating and sanitary pipe network calculations were used right from the start. Today, Woschitz Engineering uses almost the entire SOLAR-COMPUTER range including GBIS tools for the data network.

Particularly appreciated:

  • Heating and cooling load calculation according to VDI 2078/6007 with dynamic simulation and site-specific temperature values
  • Profitability calculation with price increases and returns over defined periods
  • Data network with Revit for continuous model integration up to late planning phases
  • Independent calculation option for variant and comparative calculations
  • Simulation of energy consumption and ventilation scenarios (e.g. night ventilation)

Thanks to the intensive use of SOLAR-COMPUTER, Woschitz Engineering was able to avoid oversizing, reduce investment costs and increase planning reliability. The combination of economic analyses, BIM integration and dynamic simulations ensures that clients receive a sound basis for decision-making - a decisive competitive advantage, especially in times of the energy transition.
