PROJECT DESCRIPTION
In 2021, the decision was made to introduce pitFM with the aim of digitally transforming facility management at Blum and mapping central processes in a standardized and efficient manner. The main focus was on space management, rental management and building maintenance.
The occupational safety department was also included - with a focus on the structured and digital recording of accident reports and the management of instructions.
The go-live of the occupational safety modules took place in January 2023. With the go-live, the safety specialists and managers at Blum benefit from a central, transparent platform for processing, analyzing and evaluating safety-relevant events. The connection to systems such as SAP, ELDA (electronic portal of the Austrian social security system) and SABA Learning (e-learning platform) ensures seamless processing and an automated flow of information.
With pitFM, Julius Blum GmbH has succeeded in sustainably digitalizing occupational safety processes. The solution ensures greater transparency, more efficient processes and continuous optimization of operational safety - with measurable added value for the organization, managers and employees.
Further modules to expand its use, for example in the areas of administration of official notifications, fire protection (digital fire protection book) or inspection management, have already been implemented or are in the planning stage.
