Air quality in buildings

A recent IMAS study confirms this. Healthy indoor air is a decisive factor for well-being and performance in the workplace. Just how important fresh air and a healthy indoor climate are to Austrians is shown by a representative study by ZULuft Austria clearly. Around nine out of ten Austrians consider good indoor air to be of high to very high importance. Modern ventilation technology improves concentration and satisfaction, reduces sick leave and supports energy-efficient, productive work. At the same time, the study makes it clear that indoor air quality, particularly in office buildings, is still too rarely systematically measured and optimized. Binding standards and regular measurements of key parameters such as CO², temperature, humidity, particulate matter and noise are required.

Since 2025, we have been a supporting member of ZUluft Austria, the Austrian industry association for healthy, efficient and sustainable indoor air technology. ZULuft Austria brings together companies and experts in ventilation and air conditioning technology to network science, research and politics and raise awareness of good indoor air as a health and environmental factor. For us, this membership means actively participating in the discourse and practical solutions and working together with other stakeholders to strengthen the importance of healthy air quality in buildings.
