pitFM OpenConnect: Optimize data flows securely and efficiently
pitFM OpenConnect:
Smart technologies for new solutions in practice
Consistent, digital processes are the basis for sustainable real estate management. Implementation requires software solutions that support the user efficiently and meet the highest IT and information security requirements.
What is pitFM OpenConnect?
pitFM OpenConnect is the basic technology with which you can bring your facility management processes securely into the cloud.
It enables the provision of all data relevant to FM service providers in the public environment. In particular, maintenance measures and repair orders are made available in order to control and document the provision of services.
In order to meet the high IT and information security requirements, pit consistently relied on innovative yet proven technologies provided by pitFM OpenConnect when implementing the service provider portal.
What makes pitFM OpenConnect so special?
With pitFM OpenConnect, we present an innovative interface module that enables companies to securely transfer data from their on-premise environment to external systems or third-party providers. Whether process, system or data integration – pitFM OpenConnect covers all application scenarios.
- Security: By combining synchronous (REST service) and asynchronous interfaces (queuing service), pitFM OpenConnect guarantees maximum data security.
- Connectivity: The architecture is based on open standards such as openAPI, JSON and OAuth to enable secure and efficient data exchange in a cloud environment.
- Cloud Ready: The solution is flexible and can be seamlessly integrated into any cloud environment, offering versatile hosting options.
Best Practices – BLB NRW optimizes facility management with pitFM and pitFM OpenConnect
Bau- und Liegenschaftsbetrieb NRW (BLB NRW) has completely digitalized its facility management processes. With the CAFM system pitFM and the pitFM OpenConnect interface, 430 internal employees and 700 external service providers work together seamlessly. This enables an efficient and compliant maintenance process for 4,038 buildings, including 48,488 technical installations, 52,226 maintenance tasks and 53,599 repair orders per year.
Thanks to the integration of a service provider portal and secure data transmission via an Internet DMZ, the solution meets the strict IT and security standards of the state of NRW. BLB NRW was thus able to eliminate media disruptions, increase service quality and significantly reduce processing costs.
