at the Heidelberg location
On Friday, May 20, 2022, there was a fire in the pit – cup GmbH building at our beautiful headquarters in Heidelberg. All persons were able to leave the building in time and are safe and sound.
Despite the fire, pit – cup remains fully operational and business continues as usual! The IT infrastructure is 100% operational, software development and the project business can continue their daily business without restrictions. However, the office in Heidelberg will remain closed until further notice. The resumption of office operations will take a long time.
Our colleagues in Heidelberg are currently working from home and can pursue their day-to-day business from there. All other pit – cup locations are in full operation as usual. We keep all partners and customers up to date with the latest news.
A special word of praise goes to our helpers (employees, family, friends) who helped clear the office and equipment at the weekend so that operations could continue without interruption at the start of the week.
