GEMA Gebäudemanagement GmbH & Co. KG is a medium-sized company specializing in the management of residential and commercial properties (including specialist stores) and industrial properties. The regional coverage includes the whole of Germany with a focus on southern Germany.

Initial situation and objectives

As a service provider, GEMA Gebäudemanagement GmbH & Co. KG manages around 5.5 million m² of usable space, comprising residential, industrial and commercial properties, with a sales volume of around EUR 72 million and 375 employees.

In the search for a CAFM system, pitFM has been used as a central information database since the beginning of 2004. During the selection process, particular attention was paid to mapping both the internal processes and the requirements regarding evaluations, reports and reports of the main customer MEAG (Munich Ergo Assetmanagement GmbH) in one system.

The project is divided into the following project phases:

• Web definition of the basic processes and realization in pitFM
• Transfer of master data from existing lists or databases (business entities, buildings, service specifications)
