As a service provider for technical and infrastructural facility management and the operation of energy systems, FAMIS continuously digitalizes its processes and documents them in a traceable manner in line with the operator responsibility it has assumed.

Initial situation and objectives

An upcoming product change of the CAFM software used CAFM software in 2015 made it possible to extensive market research. When selecting the software, the focus was on the usability of a mobile mobile application even without a permanent connection to the Internet. For example a technical system in the basement of the building.

In addition to the requirements, we wanted to be abletoadapt the processes and the user interface to our needs and those of our customers ourselves .

Another focus was the ability to connect toour parent company’s SAP system via appropriate interfaces.

The new software should in fact meet the requirements of a service provider in technical FM in the best possible map. In other words, legally compliant documentation of the activities on behalf of a customer.

The changeover then took place within a year. Since then, we have been constantly developing the system and digitalize internal processes with the help of pitFM, the web portal and the pitFM Mobile app .

For example, a CRM sales tool was developed with whichcustomer visit reports can be recorded directly in the system using the web portal or pitFM Mobile.

In addition, a quotation tool was implemented that digitally maps the process from customer inquiry to invoicing in pitFM, including an approval workflow .

Famis is currently developing a comprehensive ERP system with pitFM. Starting with employee onboarding, workplace equipment with work tools, company cars through to system access and applications and employee offboarding. The consistency of the processes has the highest priority.
